Emily Sheehan has worked in the field of substance use disorder for over 3 years. She is currently enrolled in school to become a licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Emily is well versed in all aspects of the recovery care continuum. She is on the frontline in serving Emory Recovery patients through evaluations, treatment planning, crisis intervention and Alumni services.
Additionally, Emily is in recovery from substance use disorder and has personal experience with the struggles of addiction and mental health issues. Her past has become a useful tool in helping others through the recovery process. Her knowledge and experience in the 12 steps of recovery is a great asset for the Emory Community. Emily is a loving wife and has two wonderful toddlers.
