Roxxanne Newman is a person in long-term recovery from substance use and has dedicated over a decade to the field of recovery support and advocacy. She holds a master’s degree in psychology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in Recovery Science. Her research focuses on recovery capital, harm reduction, recovery community centers, and the unique experiences of mothers in long-term recovery. With both lived experience and academic expertise, she is passionate about advancing inclusive, evidence-based recovery practices that empower individuals and communities.
