Danielle Lasden, MSN, AGNP-C

Associate Medical Director

Danielle is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience in addiction medicine and primary care. She provides individualized care that supports long-term recovery and overall well-being.

At Emory Recovery Center, Danielle’s approach to treatment includes integrated, evidence-based practice for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Drawing on her background in both addiction medicine and primary care, she takes a holistic approach to care—addressing medical, psychiatric, and lifestyle factors that influence recovery. She is particularly skilled in initiating and managing medication assisted treatment, as well as guiding patients through the complexities of medication management.

Danielle’s clinical experience spans a variety of treatment settings and nationally recognized institutions, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she helped integrate addiction treatment into primary care and co-authored a research article focused on improving outcomes for patients with substance use disorders. Her background as a nurse practitioner also includes direct patient care in detox and residential programs, a methadone clinic, as well as outpatient treatment settings—giving her a deep, practical understanding of the full continuum of addiction care. 

She earned her B.S./M.S. in Nursing from Regis College and holds a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from Simmons College. Danielle is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Her commitment to providing patient-centered care, collaborative practice, and respect for the unique needs of each patient make her a valued member of the Emory Recovery Center team.
